Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager II to oversee onsite environmental operations and manage the InSite team at a customer facility in San Francisco, CA . In this role, you will coordinate all Clean Harbors activities at the site, provide Health and Safety oversight for onsite staff, and manage the customer’s air, water, and hazardous waste programs from cradle to grave. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery while building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and driving continuous improvement in operations and compliance.

Starting Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 salary DOE

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5–7 years of experience in environmental services, waste management, or a closely related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising and developing staff.
- Familiarity with EPA, DOT, NRC, and applicable state and local regulations.
- Working knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) management and basic financial metrics.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work with little or no supervision, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications and standard business/computer tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License – Class B or C with hazardous materials endorsement.
Experience managing onsite/InSite-style environmental programs at customer facilities.
