We are seeking an experienced Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) who is ready to make an impact, build strong patient relationships, and grow with a practice that truly values its clinical team.

What You'll Do
As an EFDA, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting clinical excellence throughout the practice.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout their visit
- Assist the doctor during examinations and procedures
- Perform expanded functions permitted under Ohio EFDA regulations
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions to patients
- Take and process dental radiographs as needed
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are properly sterilized and stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-focused office environment
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) License
- Previous EFDA experience required
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
