Eagle Crusher is looking for experienced Set-up welders and Welders to join our team. If you are passionate about welding and want to come work for a family-owned company that is growing, then this opportunity is for you.
Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to set-up and/or weld out structural forms parts by performing the following duties.

Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine equipment, plan layout, set-up and welding.

Perform necessary laying out, cutting, bending, forming and assembly operations using fixtures and positioners in preparation for welding.

Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.

Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.

Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.

Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.

Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.

Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure.

Operate overhead crane and/or forklift as needed.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Performs any related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience doing set-up welds and ability to pass a 2G weld test.

Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.).

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications and welding symbols.

Ability to read and interpret blue prints, welding process specifications and welding symbols.

Knowledgeable of different kinds of metal and their properties.

Experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane preferred.

Ability to commit to flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts.
