Canine Care Technician / Kennel Technician

K9s Place is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our Canine Care Team. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to the health and safety of every dog in our care.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect kennels and play yards
- Feed, water, and care for boarding and daycare dogs
- Supervise daycare playgroups
- Safely handle dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Monitor dogs for changes in health or behavior
- Laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, and general facility cleaning
- Work efficiently with your team to keep the facility running smoothly
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout your shift
- Previous animal care experience is a plus but not required
