Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and vigilant Seasonal Lifeguards to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our pool guests during peak seasons. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool areas, enforcing safety rules, and providing excellent guest services. This role offers a dynamic environment where your alertness and friendly attitude will help create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Constantly monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Enforce pool safety rules and regulations to ensure guest safety at all times
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, skimming, and chemical checks to maintain water quality
- Assist guests with pool-related inquiries and provide excellent guest services
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas for hazards or maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid and CPR techniques when necessary
- Support pool cleaning efforts including removing debris, scrubbing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to swim proficiently in various conditions
- Knowledge of pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling preferred
- Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Prior experience with pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus
- Must be available to work flexible hours during peak seasons
