Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and childhood development milestones.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure high-quality instruction and effective classroom management.
- Foster an inclusive environment that supports children with special needs, early intervention requirements, and diverse learning styles.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of child progress using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or intervention strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of lesson plans, student progress reports, and classroom activities to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning.
- Strong background in early childhood education principles such as childhood development, behavior management, literacy education, and Montessori techniques.
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and child welfare policies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum content across subjects like math, physical education, and language arts.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols.
- Prior experience in preschool teaching environments or private schools is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for toddlers care, classroom experience management, and diverse learner needs.
