Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to menu specifications and recipes
- Cook and assemble dishes with precision, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with ingredient prep and portion control
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or culinary settings
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
