We are looking for a detail-oriented Dental Billing and Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting in our financial operations, ensuring that our practice remains healthy so we can continue providing top-tier care to our patients.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver who understands the nuances of dental insurance, patient communication and the importance of a clean aging report.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Recovery: Regularly review aging reports and aggressively follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
Patient Billing: Send out weekly statements and handle patient inquiries regarding their account balances with empathy and clarity.
Insurance Verification: Confirm patient coverage and benefits to ensure accurate estimates.
Payment Posting: Assist in accurately posting insurance payments to the appropriate account.
Appeals: Research and resubmit rejected claims.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
