American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a cath lab setting, with on-call responsibilities and Epic proficiency.

Acute care hospital setting with a 212-bed facility

Assigned to the Cath Lab unit

Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, and right and left heart catheterization
-
4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00–17:30
-
Weekends may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
-
On-call required: weeknights 17:30–07:00 and weekends (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)

Charting via Epic (experience required)

Float between all facilities within the state may be required

Active CA RN license required
-
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required (hard requirement)

Epic EMR experience required

First-time travelers will not be considered

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

RNs wear navy blue scrubs

Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted

Former permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may face assignment termination

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; minimal RTO is strongly preferred

Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
