Job Summary
Seeking experienced Machine Operators to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC, EDM, and/or ECM machines in a manufacturing environment. The role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and precision machining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC, EDM, and/or ECM equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Install tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
- Maintain quality records and verify machine programs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of CNC, EDM, ECM, or related machine operation experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work overtime as needed.
Preferred
- Experience with computerized shop floor systems.
- Manufacturing/production environment experience.
- Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- CNC Machine Operator : 4 years (Required)
- EDM: 1 year (Required)
- shop floor systems and manufacturing tools: 2 years (Required)
- Blueprint Drawings: 2 years (Required)
