Supervise and coordinate the activities of chemical cleaning technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on chemical cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Monitor and evaluate the chemical cleaning processes to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Ensure all operations comply with company, local, state, and federal safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of cleaning equipment.
Maintain detailed records of cleaning operations, including chemicals used, procedures followed, and results achieved.
Address and resolve any issues that arise during the cleaning process.
Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment.
Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customer and other Miller sites as needed.
Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
