Role Description
We are hiring a Lead HVAC Service Technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
This is not an entry-level role. You must be confident diagnosing system issues, communicating solutions to customers, and completing repairs efficiently and professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Proven HVAC service experience
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems independently
- Strong knowledge of:
Heat pumps
Central AC systems
Furnaces
Boilers
Air handlers
Mini-split systems
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of HVAC controls and diagnostics
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Certification
- Experience with inverter-driven systems
- Experience training junior technicians
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment
- Perform service calls independently
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and control issues
- Clearly explain findings and recommendations to customers
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Maintain stocked and organized service vehicles
- Support maintenance technicians when advanced diagnostics are needed
- Mentor junior technicians and apprentices

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour

- Do you currently hold an EPA 608 Universal Certification?
- Are you comfortable independently diagnosing HVAC system failures?
- Do you have experience servicing heat pumps, mini-splits, furnaces, boilers, and air handlers?
- Are you comfortable communicating repair recommendations directly with customers?
- Do you have experience troubleshooting electrical and control systems?
- Do you have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record?
- Are you able to reliably commute to or work out of the Marstons Mills, MA area?
