Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential New Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management, and experience with various construction management software. This role requires effective project coordination, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Direct team members (employees and consultants) at all levels of contract administration.
- Control any number of projects at various stages of work. Review records of accounts and input entries into to proper accounts.
- Determine needed resources from start to finish with high level of attention to budgetary limitations.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Continually evaluate progress and prepare deadline reports.
- Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and construction time frame.
- Plan layouts of projects and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
- Administer construction contracts and conduct periodic onsite observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans and specifications.
- Provide leadership and direct activities of project team members.
- Use applicable resources to obtain knowledge on upcoming projects to recruit work for the company.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of job site-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must commute on a daily basis to Everett, Washington.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
