We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Classroom Teacher to inspire and educate students using student-centered and muti-tiered learning. In this role, you will create a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and educational technology will be essential in delivering engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles. As a member of our faculty, you will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs. Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior proactively to create a positive, inclusive environment conducive to learning for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Utilize differentiated instruction and instructional modifications to accommodate various learning styles and special educational needs, including students with autism or those requiring special education support.
- Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative evaluations, analyzing data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
- Integrate educational technology into lessons effectively, including digital resources, interactive tools, and IT-enabled activities to enhance engagement.
- Communicate consistently with parents regarding student progress, behavioral updates, and upcoming assessments or events.
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development initiatives, school policies, and interdisciplinary projects to ensure cohesive educational experiences.
Experience preferred but not necessary
- Proven classroom experience working with children across early childhood education or preschool levels, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Experience implementing curriculum development strategies within private or public school settings.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, literacy education techniques, math instruction, and childhood development principles.
- Skilled in using learning technology platforms.
- Background in working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Experience collaborating with colleagues on curriculum implementation and participating in faculty meetings or educational committees.
- Prior involvement in behavior management strategies and working with students requiring special education accommodations or behavioral support plans.
Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
