HVAC Lead InstallerJob Scope
Lead residential HVAC installs from start to finish. You'll install at least 3 systems per week, lead an Install Helper, handle light service work when needed, and make sure every job is done safely, on time, and up to code.
What You'll Do
- Install furnaces, A/C units, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, and accessories.
- Lead and train an Install Helper on every job.
- Complete quality installations that meet company and local code standards.
- Keep the work area clean and protect the customer's home.
- Remove old equipment and clean up after each job.
- Perform basic service and repair work as needed.
- Keep your truck, tools, and inventory organized.
- Complete job paperwork and follow all safety guidelines.
- Provide great customer service and recommend additional products when appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong installation and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Able to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals.
- Experience leading or training other installers is a plus.
- Reliable, safety-minded, and customer focused.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoors in all weather.
- Climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces.
- Travel throughout your assigned service area.
