Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately
- Ensure adherence to all food safety and alcohol service regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices
- Restock bar inventory as needed, monitor stock levels, and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and billing purposes
- Experience in food industry environments like brewing or catering is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
