Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including creating and managing formulas, and will play a key role in purchasing, inventory management, office organization, and maintaining accurate documentation.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Purchasing
- Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, supplies, and office needs.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, order status, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively place orders to ensure material availability.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
Inventory Management
- Track and maintain inventory levels through regular monitoring and reporting.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, and excess stock.
- Generate inventory reports and maintain accurate inventory records.
Office Administration & Documentation
- Develop, maintain, and organize office documentation, records, and filing systems.
- Create and update spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure documents are accurate, current, and easily accessible.
- Support daily administrative functions and assist with office organization initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create formulas, spreadsheets, reports, and data-tracking systems.
- Analyze purchasing and inventory data to support operational decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports for management regarding inventory status, purchasing activities, and key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory control, office administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with inventory management or ERP software.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier management.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reporting functions.
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement organizational systems.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
