Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules and optimize travel time
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and incident reports in accordance with company policies
- Load & unload cargo carefully to prevent damage, adhering to logistics cargo handling procedures for various freight types such as freight containers, roll-off trucks, or dump trucks
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated (Class A)
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on delivery driving or over-the-road (OTR) routes
- Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures for freight including hazardous goods and dangerous materials
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time directions
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment is a plus
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazard regulation compliance, and safety protocols for truck driving

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,800.00 per week
