Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Catering/Food Truck Sales Manager to lead our mobile food and catering operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase catering and food truck bookings across various markets and events.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, event organizers, venues, and vendors through proactive outreach and excellent customer service.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Coordinate event marketing efforts by promoting services through social media, local advertising, and community engagement initiatives.
- Plan and oversee logistics for catering events and food truck operations, including menu planning, product ordering, staffing, setup, and breakdown.
- Upsell additional services such as specialty menu items, beverage packages, or event enhancements to boost revenue streams.
- Manage budgets for marketing campaigns and event execution to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements related to catering and food truck operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management within the catering, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry; banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while fostering long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and experience in event planning or management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Experience in budgeting, contracts management, and financial oversight for catering or hospitality services.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, vendors, and partners seamlessly.
- Familiarity with food truck operations or mobile catering logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or during peak event seasons as needed.
