Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team! Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and drainage connections.
- Conduct refrigeration repairs involving refrigeration systems and other refrigerants to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Utilize tools such as multi-meters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized equipment; perform equipment repair or replacement as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document work performed for accountability and future reference.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards including proper handling of refrigerants and adherence to property maintenance protocols.
- Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or new technological advancements.
- Operate a work vehicle safely for transportation between job sites while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service techician preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles.
- Mechanical knowledge covering boilers, appliance repair, plumbing, welding, and general equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with field service operations involving property maintenance or appliance repair.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record necessary. Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
