Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller with month-end and year-end close processes
- Process and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and timely
- Process payroll using Checkwriters, including exporting payroll data and importing it into Sage 300
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support inventory and cost accounting functions within a manufacturing environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Assist with external audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger accounting
- Experience processing payroll using Checkwriters or a similar payroll system.
- Experience with Sage 300 (or comparable ERP/accounting software
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOK UP
- Formulas and data analysis
- Importing, exporting, and manipulating large datasets
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
