With operations across Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina, we’re continuing to grow — and we’re looking for a driven Business Development / Sales Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team in the Abingdon / Southwest Virginia region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, people‑focused professional who enjoys building relationships, meeting new clients, and creating long-term value. Industry experience is not required — our most successful team members come from backgrounds like hospitality, law enforcement, professional athletics, and door‑to‑door sales.
As a key member of our commercial sales team, you’ll help organizations maintain safe, efficient, and reliable HVAC systems by selling preventative maintenance service agreements. You will engage with a diverse mix of prospects including building owners, churches, schools, municipalities, industrial facilities, and retail businesses.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Actively prospect, visit, and engage potential clients throughout your territory.
Identify new opportunities while promoting Southern Air’s full range of service offerings.
Meet defined activity goals, develop proposals, and negotiate service contracts.
Maintain clear, responsive communication with internal teams and customers to ensure a seamless experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Residence within or near the Abingdon, VA sales territory
- Willingness to travel within roughly a 100‑mile radius
- Professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to thrive under deadlines
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
No HVAC or technical industry experience needed — we provide training.
