Qualifications
Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree AND experience equivalent to three years of increasingly responsible full-time professional staff administrative experience.
Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub professional, paraprofessional, or professional experience may be substituted for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years.
Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in public administration, business administration, or other acceptable field may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years.
OR
Two years of increasingly responsible professional administrative services experience with the State of Tennessee.
Overview
The Administrative Services Assistant 3 provides administrative and operational support to the Tennessee Advanced Communications Network (TACN) with a focus on procurement support and documentation compliance. This role serves as support between internal sections with TACN, ensuring timely communication, accurate recordkeeping, and adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Assist in drafting, reviewing, tracking, and maintaining TACN Procurement to include quotes, requests for purchase, purchase orders, and invoices.

Ensuring for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to division and departmental standards.

Review and process incoming support documentation from radio technicians from across the state to include Lidar and Radar Recertications, fuel delivery tickets, and vendor sign-in sheets.

Maintain organized fling systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with contracts and state retention standards.

Support statewide vehicle equipment inventory efforts by coordinating with Vehicles Servicers shops to track, document, and update equipment assignments.

Ensure accurate, up-to-date inventory records, enabling reliable accountability, development planning, and lifecycle management.

Maintain comprehensive inventory control by monitory equipment status, managing surplus and replacement processes, and providing regular inventory reporting to agency leadership.

Ensure sim card data is submitted to the FirstNet Administrator, adhering to departmental processes, for all activation/deactivation requests for in-vehicle wireless routers.

Create, update, and manage a spreadsheet tracking all requests for
- activation/deactivation of sim cards, to include each of the vendors.

Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
