Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Job Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards personal and professional growth. This position involves working closely with participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop their skills, enhance their capabilities, and support them in achieving their goals. The Job Coach will utilize various methodologies and approaches, including training development, mentoring, and fostering a positive and productive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to facilitate personal and professional development.
- Provide guidance on workforce development strategies to enhance employability skills.
- Educate participants on relevant topics such as employment labor law and addiction counseling.
- Mentor individuals with developmental disabilities, offering support and resources for their growth.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans.
- Monitor progress and adjust coaching strategies as necessary to ensure participant success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in coaching or mentoring roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of workforce development practices and employment labor laws.
- Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire others.
- A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential through effective coaching strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
