Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory, leadership, or management role within hospitality or retail

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and peak shifts

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication abilities

Assistant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and shop organization

Ensure exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction at all times

Maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

Manage opening and closing shifts, especially during busy periods
