Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision and speed, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and handling credit/debit card payments with accuracy
- Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in food handling tasks such as assembling sandwiches, managing food prep stations, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients
- Support retail sales transactions through cashiering duties while promoting menu items to increase sales opportunities
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety procedures within the food industry
- Familiarity with TOAST is a plus for efficient order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, fryers, and slicers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals accurately
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly attitude that promotes a positive dining experience
