Duties
- Monitor pool areas continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules effectively
- Respond swiftly and confidently to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
- Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections to maintain optimal water quality
- Assist guests with pool access, provide information about amenities, and address inquiries courteously
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance duties to uphold cleanliness standards and safety protocols
- Complete incident reports accurately and communicate any safety concerns to management promptly
- Support pool opening and closing procedures, including checking safety equipment and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently
- Knowledge of pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for pool equipment or supplies
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
