We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative with inside sales experience to join our team. This role is responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, scheduling services, building customer relationships, and increasing revenue through consultative selling and upselling opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a reliable, proactive, and results-driven professional who is confident on the phone, enjoys helping customers, and is motivated by achieving performance goals.
Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for customers by providing excellent service, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and guiding customers through available cleaning and restoration solutions.
This position requires a strong customer service mindset combined with inside sales skills, including identifying customer needs, recommending additional services, overcoming objections, and converting opportunities into booked jobs.
The CSR will work closely with technicians and internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling, accurate communication, and a positive customer experience from initial contact through service completion.
Pay: $16/hr + Commission
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and friendly support to customers through phone and digital communication channels
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up with customers, schedule services, generate leads, and support sales initiatives.
- Maintain a positive attitude and represent AmeriClean Inc. with professionalism
- Collaborate with service technicians, scheduling teams, and leadership to ensure customer needs are met
- Take ownership of customer interactions and follow through on commitments
- Support company sales goals through effective communication and upselling techniques
- Maintain accurate customer information and service records
Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, call center, appointment setting, or a related role
- Experience in home services, restoration, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, or similar industries is a plus
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Jobber, ServiceTitan, or similar systems preferred
- Previous experience with sales goals, commissions, or performance-based incentives preferred
Essential Functions:
- Answer inbound customer calls and respond to service inquiries
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate cleaning and restoration services
- Use inside sales techniques to upsell additional services and increase booked job value
- Schedule appointments for services including carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, water damage restoration, and related services
- Follow up with customers after completed services to ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate technician schedules and communicate updates to customers
- Update CRM systems with customer details, notes, and appointment information
- Track sales performance, booked appointments, and customer interactions
- Handle customer concerns professionally and provide solutions
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the service process
