Overview
We are seeking dedicated and energetic learning and behavioral therapists to join our dynamic team. Those interested in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults with learning, emotional and behavioral disorders are encouraged to apply. Our ideal candidate will act as a mentor, educator, and advocate, helping youth navigate the critical transition from highschool to independent adult life. You will be responsible for balancing learning and behavioral support with vocational exploration, community-based skill building, and workplace readiness to ensure youth successfully reach their educational, transitional and vocational goals. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students working towards there GED in home and community based settings.
Duties
- Develop and implement tailored behavior and learning intervention plans
- Provide 1:1 learning and behavioral support to the high school age population, including remedial math, writing and reading intervention
- Provide vocational and transitional services to facilitate independent living and employment goals
- Collaborate with families to ensure consistency across environments
- Maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual paperwork including daily session notes, progress reports and annual reviews
Experience
- Prior experience working with young adults in educational or clinical settings, particularly with individuals with learning disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Proven background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, or related fields within special education or behavioral health.
- Home-based behavioral experience is highly valued, along with school experience supporting children with disabilities.
- Strong client communication skills to effectively engage families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher special education, behavioral health or a related field
- Must be willing to provide services in person in Coney Island, Brooklyn
- Available to provide services M-F during the day

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
