As a Patient Account Representative, you will work office hours to file, follow up on work comp insurance claims throughout the entire filing process, and apply/adjust payments for services. You will primarily communicate with insurance companies, and provide support to patients who have questions related to submitted insurance claims. After on-site training at our West Des Moines office (up to 90 days) is complete and competency in the process is established, this position works from home (at this time we are only able to accommodate remote workers within the borders of Iowa). You have the ability to come into the office on short notice. This position is a full-time (40-hours) Monday thru Friday position. To thrive in this role, you must have a working knowledge of the billing process.

- Primarily handling workers comp insurance claims, acting as the employer's contact for insurance payments.
- Review claims and make any necessary adjustments before closing the claim file.
- Answering questions regarding work comp claims filed. Be able to work remotely as a part of a small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who works alongside to create an experience we can be proud of.
