Drywall Service Technician
The successful candidate is able to seamlessly repair damage to drywall in existing homes and businesses that have experienced water, mold, fire or other damage and takes pride in their work! Candidate must be experienced in taping and matching different textures for a "it never happened" finish. We are seeking a candidate who is highly responsible, conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times, has the ability to multitask and adjust tasks as needed, has a "Find A Way" attitude and is a team player. This is definitely a career and not a "gig" or just a throw away job. Compensation for this position is $15/hr +, success of this individual will determine the rate of advancement and incremental pay rate increases. Additional construction skills are a plus! Responsibilities
Be on time and prepared every day. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Take a drywall repair from “A-Z” within designated time frame without compromising quality of work. Perform clean up after work is complete to ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate with project manager on project progress and conduct end of day checks ins. Effectively communicate in a professional manner with fellow team members, management, and customers. Complete required internal paperwork as needed.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in hanging drywall, taping, texturing, painting, & finishing drywall.
- Basic drywall tools for repairs, patching, and finishing.
- Team player that possess a "Find A Way" attitude.
- Professional appearance
- Punctuality
- Comfortable climbing, working on, and building scaffolding/ladders.
- Strong desire to be engaged in beginning-to-end project completion and quality of work.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background screening
Experience:
- relevant: 1 year (Preferred)
- finishing drywall: 2 years (Preferred)
