Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Grounds Associate to ensure the proper upkeep and appearance of our facilities. This role involves general building maintenance and groundskeeping responsibilities to create a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks on a daily basis.
Duties
- Perform general building maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in good working order.
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify repair needs or safety hazards.
- Maintain outdoor grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, planting, and trimming to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Assist with minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed.
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency repairs.
- Keep records of maintenance activities and report issues to management.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in building maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable work ethic with a proactive approach to maintaining facility standards.
- On Call rotation.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
