Mechanical Project Manager / Senior Project Manager
Major Mechanical Packages.
Mega Projects. Real Career Momentum.
Some PM roles keep you busy.
This one puts your name on projects people talk about for the rest of their careers.
A leading U.S. mechanical contractor is hiring Mechanical Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead major mechanical scopes across some of the most complex mission critical and industrial projects in the country.
We are talking data centers, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, battery, healthcare, and large-scale industrial work, not small commercial jobs, not tenant fit-outs, and not a portfolio of scattered projects.
This is for mechanical construction professionals who want scale, pressure, visibility, and a serious seat at the table.
The Opportunity
You will be joining a contractor with a major presence in the mission critical market and a backlog strong enough to hire multiple top-tier PMs immediately.
The work is big.
The teams are serious.
The expectations are high.
The opportunity is even higher.
This role is built for someone who has already proven they can manage large mechanical scopes and now wants to step into projects where the mechanical package alone can be $30M+.
If you are used to owning one major project, working directly with top general contractors, and being trusted to drive schedule, cost, manpower, client communication, and delivery, this is the kind of move worth paying attention to.
What You’ll Be Walking Into
You will be managing major mechanical packages on complex, fast-moving projects across the U.S.
These are the kinds of projects where planning matters, communication matters, leadership matters, and weak project management gets exposed quickly.
You will be expected to take ownership.
You will work closely with field teams, executives, clients, general contractors, vendors, and internal leadership.
You will be trusted to solve problems before they become expensive.
You will be visible.
You will be challenged.
You will be backed by a company that knows how to win and deliver large mechanical work.
Who This Is For
This is for the PM or Senior PM who has outgrown small work.
It is for someone who wants bigger projects, stronger teams, better backing, and a clearer path forward.
It is for someone who understands the pace of mission critical and large industrial construction.
It is for someone who can sit across from a major GC, talk through a problem clearly, and still keep the job moving.
It is for someone who is comfortable traveling, living where the project needs them, and building a career around high-value mechanical construction.
Ideal Experience
The strongest candidates will have experience in one or more of the following:
- Data centers
- Mission critical facilities
- Semiconductor facilities
- Battery manufacturing
- Large healthcare
- Advanced manufacturing
- Large industrial mechanical projects
You do not need all of the above.
But you do need real experience managing large mechanical scopes, ideally in the $30M+ range.
What You’ll Need
- Experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
- Background with a mechanical contractor
- Experience managing large industrial or mission critical projects
- Exposure to major mechanical packages, ideally $30M+
- Ability to lead one major project rather than several small jobs
- Experience working with large general contractors
- Strong communication and client-facing ability
- Confidence managing schedule, cost, field coordination, documentation, and project execution
- Willingness to travel full-time between major project locations
- A professional, polished, career-driven approach
What This Is Not
This is not a local-only role.
This is not small commercial work.
This is not residential.
This is not multifamily.
This is not for someone who only wants to stay in one city.
This is not for candidates who have only managed small mechanical packages.
This is not a “see how it goes” opportunity.
This is for proven mechanical construction leaders who want to operate at a higher level.
Travel Expectations
This is a traveling role.
Projects move, and the right person needs to move with them.
Current activity is focused across markets including Texas, Ohio, Indiana, and surrounding regions, but locations can shift based on project demand.
If you are open to major projects and flexible on location, this can be a strong fit.
If you need one fixed location forever, it will not be.
Compensation Package
The package is designed to attract serious project leadership.
Depending on experience and level, compensation can include:
- $165,000 – $200,000 base salary
- Per diem
- Vehicle allowance
- Gas card
- Company phone
- iPad
- Full travel package
Senior-level and exceptional mega-project candidates will be considered toward the higher end of the range.
Why It’s Worth a Conversation
Because these roles do not come around every day.
A lot of companies talk about major projects.
This company is already doing them.
A lot of contractors say they are growing.
This one has the backlog to prove it.
A lot of PM roles promise progression.
This one gives you the project scale to earn it.
If you are a Mechanical PM or Senior PM with large project experience and you are ready for something bigger, this is a conversation worth having.
Apply Confidentially
If your background is in large mechanical construction, mission critical, data centers, semiconductor, battery, healthcare, or industrial projects, reach out for a confidential conversation.
No company names.
No client names.
No pressure.
Just a direct conversation about whether the opportunity lines up with what you want next.
