Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and healthcare regulations, with a passion for delivering exceptional nursing services across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments such as IV infusions and suturing with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patients’ conditions continuously, utilizing telemetry and other monitoring tools to detect changes requiring immediate intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across departments such as cardiology, emergency medicine, ICU, pediatrics, geriatrics, and behavioral health to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation standards.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures including laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, catheterization, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, discharge planning, medication regimens, and post-acute care instructions.
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure all clinical practices meet NCQA standards and hospital policies for safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license with current registration; experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine, critical care units (ICU/Level I & II trauma centers), or outpatient clinics.
- Proven proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in specialized nursing areas including critical care experience, ophthalmology procedures like botulinum toxin treatment, dialysis management, trauma medicine, or hospice & palliative medicine.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to acute pain management and medication administration.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities; background in geriatrics or memory care is advantageous.
- Ability to perform complex procedures such as ventilator management, NG tube feeding, ostomy care, or neonatal resuscitation procedures confidently.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,000.00 per week
