Goldmax of Florida is seeking an outgoing Sales Rep to be our primary Jewelry and Precious Metals Buying Specialist in our new Lakeland location! You will buy and sell jewelry daily from in-store retail customers. No experience necessary...we will teach you our proven techniques on how to identify and purchase gold, silver and platinum jewelry, coins, and bullion and provide you with continuous support so we can succeed as a team.
This isn't your typical sales role. Instead of chasing leads or making cold calls, you'll focus on acquiring high-quality inventory through a welcoming, informative process. Success is measured by the quality and volume of inventory you purchase—not outbound sales.

As a full-time employee with GoldMax, your typical responsibilities would include:
- Building rapport with each guest and educating them on the selling process
- Assessing, pricing, purchasing, and securing guests’ gold, silver, and platinum jewelry using the industry knowledge and skills we will provide
- Filling out and processing paperwork about the items you purchase
- Miscellaneous tasks behind computer during downtime
The ideal candidate for this position would have:
- Previous sales/customer service experience
- Stellar interpersonal skills with a welcoming, professional, and dynamic personality
- English/Spanish bi-lingual speaking skills a plus
- Basic computer proficiency
- An appreciation/passion for the jewelry industry and a desire to learn
- A flexible schedule
No experience in the jewelry industry required – We will train you!
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 total pay compensation.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including base salary plus uncapped commissions!
