Lewis-Palmer School District 38 in Monument, CO, is looking for a Full Time Evening Custodian beginning immediately at Ray E. Kilmer Elementary. Must be able to contribute to a clean, orderly environment suitable for learning. Must be a dependable, flexible and willing to learn new skills and/or perfect current skills. Must have a good work ethic and be a motivated worker while working independently. Must have a positive attitude.
The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm during the regular school year, and 6 am to 2:30 pm during the summer months. Must also be willing and able to work extra hours, as needed, for snow removal, emergencies, or for outside facility rentals. This is a year-round full time position.
The starting hourly wage for this position is dependent upon relevant previous experience with a range of $20.45 - $22.04. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. This position will be open until filled.
All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week at Lewis-Palmer School District, are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
