Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Therapist to oversee and coordinate therapeutic services delivered directly within clients' homes, school and in the community. This vital role involves leading a team of a skilled, full-time, licensed therapist, and a qualified professional, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care and fostering positive outcomes for children and families. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of two, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure clinical excellence.
- Coordinate scheduling and caseload management to optimize service delivery across multiple clients and families.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, including diagnostic evaluations, behavioral analysis, and mental health screenings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans (Person Centered Plans) utilizing evidence-based practices such as Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and family therapy techniques.
- Deliver direct therapy services in clients’ homes, school settings, and the community, including behavioral management, social work interventions (case management), art therapy, and crisis intervention when necessary.
- Ensure all clinical documentation adheres to HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and electronic health records (EHR) management protocols.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support holistic care plans and facilitate effective communication.
- Monitor progress through data collection and analysis to adjust interventions promptly for optimal client outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations related to home-based behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field; licensure as required by state law (e.g., LCSW, LMHC).
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodevelopmental disorders or behavioral health conditions.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques such as CBT, trauma-informed behavior management strategies, and crisis intervention methods.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising clinical teams in home or community settings.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records (EHR) systems compliant with HIPAA standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with cultural competency and professionalism while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Experience working directly within home, school, and community environments delivering patient care and conducting assessments in diverse family settings.
- Skills in conflict management, case management practices, data collection for clinical progress tracking, and crisis management strategies.
