Puppy Manor's Attendants have a genuine kindness and love for all dogs! Responsibilities include continuous safety, consistent cleaning, and social interaction play time and affection with dogs. We are seeking a full time kennel tech, 30-40hrs/week, hours fluctuating based on needs. Experience preferred but not required! Open availability, including weekends, is also highly preferred.
Starting pay $14/hr + tips (additional ~$1-2/hr)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary job will be to monitor dogs and ensure dogs are safe and healthy during during play time. The kennel is open play, meaning the majority of the dogs spend much of the day playing with other dogs.
- Clean the grounds and facilities.
- Feed dogs and provide medications as needed
- Perform grooming services such as baths.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:
- Previous experience working with dogs preferred but not required
- Be an energetic person with a great work ethic. This means you are never sitting or standing around, always looking to help out, high energy and constantly moving around. This is NOT a job where you just sit around and play with dogs.
- Will show up on time for all shifts (they start early!!)
- Have a love for dogs
- Have the ability to be on your feet for 5+ hours at a time.
- Have a positive attitude
- Reliable transportation
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
