SERVICE MANAGER
Service Manager is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all service activities, managing and developing the service technician team, and ensuring excellent customer service on every job.

- You've managed equipment, parts, or accounts; keeping inventory, procurement, and documentation tight.
- You're the person people come to when something needs to be scheduled, coordinated, or escalated — and you know how to keep multiple moving pieces on track.
- You've got a technical background in electronics or maintenance, so you can speak the same language as your techs while managing the bigger picture.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all service technicians, including performance, training, and development across all experience levels.
- Own the service calendar — scheduling and prioritizing incoming service calls and emails, including urgent requests.
- Monitor and manage service parts inventory levels.
- Supervise, assign, and track daily tasks and larger service projects.
- Manage the service ticketing system and repair workflow, ensuring timely completion and closure of orders.
- Create and prepare reports for company management and customers; report weekly to the Director of Service.
- Collaborate with Sales and the Service Coordinator on customer estimates and quotes.
- Support the service team with on-site walks for large equipment deployments, removals, and swaps, developing installation strategy and coordinating site access.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience managing or supervising a service or maintenance team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to juggle scheduling, inventory, and reporting at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn new technologies and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.
TRAINING & EDUCATION:
- Military technical training or formal education in Electronics, Maintenance Management, or other related field.
- Military training in the following fields desired: Avionics, Electronics, Fire Control, Nuclear, Computer/IT, Electrical/Electrician. Schools from the Navy, Marines, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard preferred.
- Experience leading and training technicians, managing equipment/parts inventory, and coordinating logistics preferred.
- Prefer candidates with the following Military accomplishments: Meritorious Promotions, NCO/SNCO of the Quarter/Year, or other Command recognition for superior performance; career progression ahead of peers; ongoing or advanced education.
