Okuma 3-Axis, 5-Axis & Horizontal Mills

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Okuma vertical and horizontal machining centers to produce complex, high-precision components for the aerospace and commercial space industries.

Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate Okuma 3-axis, 5-axis, and horizontal CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
- Program and edit G-code to optimize machining processes.
- Select tooling, establish work offsets, and perform complete machine setups.
- Machine complex aerospace components while consistently maintaining tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other inspection tools.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements to improve quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Technical/Trade Certification in Precision Machining preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of CNC milling experience; additional experience is highly valued.
- Experience programming and operating CNC milling machines.
- Experience with Mastercam and/or Siemens NX (Unigraphics) is preferred.
- Experience with Okuma controls and machines is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming.
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and hold close tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to producing quality work.

Pay: $22.50 - $35.00 per hour
