The Senior Sales Manager manages and directs the Sales Team in meeting sales and profit goals. In this position, you are also responsible for:
- Interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, motivating, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining Sales Consultants
- Identifying training and procedural needs to increase sales productivity; making recommendations to Store Manager and implementing necessary changes
- Reviewing and analyzing sales reports to monitor the productivity level of Sales Consultants and ensuring that all budgeted sales goals are met
- Responding to escalated customer service issues and resolving problems
- Monitoring sales floor to ensure all guests are being assisted by sales personnel
The qualified candidate must have:
- Minimum 5 years combined sales and management in high volume major retailer or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to motivate, lead and direct others
- Solid understanding of product knowledge as it pertains to the furniture industry
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Pay Range: $85,000-$95,000 per year
We share our pay range because transparency matters. This reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance.
