Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Technician, where your hands-on skills and attention to detail will drive the production of high-quality products. As a vital member of our manufacturing operations, you will contribute to the seamless flow of materials and uphold strict quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Review resident manufacturing plan for proper instructions and specifications
- Ensure all necessary parts and materials are present
- Utilize specified layup mold (LM) or tool
- Complete layup of part per the manufacturing plan; this involves the application of prepreg, which is an epoxy or resin filled fabric that adheres to the tool or previous layer
- Inspect each step in the process for quality and presence of Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
- Visually inspect finished parts for quality
- Clean part per specifications
- Prepare part, per specifications, for cure; this involves utilizing bagging material and connecting the tool/part to a vacuum line
- Stage part on outgoing production shelves
- Replace all tools and materials when job(s) are complete
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Properly dispose of any/all hazardous materials
- Replace all tools and materials when job(s) are complete
- Participate in continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
- Assist with standard operating procedures for all production operations
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
- Utilize all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE)Experience
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments or related roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies to promote continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience with quality assurance processes is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
