Position: Junior Content Creator
Location: Buffalo, NY
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00/hour, based on expirience.
What We Are Looking For
This role is a hands-on video position. You will shoot and edit content for social media, internal communications, and marketing campaigns, working closely with the marketing team to turn ideas into finished videos. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build a portfolio while working on a wide range of projects, from quick social clips to polished campaign pieces.
What You Will Do
- Shoot video on location at NOCO facilities, job sites, and community events
- Edit raw footage into finished videos for social media, YouTube, internal use, and paid campaigns
- Add graphics, titles, music, and sound design to match NOCO's brand
- Manage and organize video files, project assets, and equipment
- Support photo shoots and other content needs as they come up
- Collaborate with the marketing team on scripts, shot lists, and creative concepts
- Stay current on video trends and platform best practices, especially for short-form social content
- Help maintain a consistent visual style across all video content
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of video production or editing experience (internships and school projects count)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
- Comfortable operating a camera and basic lighting and audio setup
- An eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A team player who takes direction well and also brings their own ideas
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites and events across Western New York
- Experience with motion graphics or animation (After Effects)
- Experience shooting and editing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
- Photography skills
- Drone operation experience or willingness to get certified
