Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional dedicated to creating a spotless, welcoming environment for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every detail meets our high standards of hospitality excellence. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain a clean and safe surface throughout the property.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces to uphold the hotel’s standards of hygiene.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when restocking is needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards.
- Previous hotel or industrial cleaning experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality service.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts.
- Knowledge of custodial equipment operation and housekeeping management practices is a plus.
