Catalyst Medical Center + Clinical Spa is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant III or Licensed Practical Nurse to support providers and ensure the efficient operation of our clinic. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities such as preparing patients for exams, documenting medical information, assisting with procedures, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day shift | In-person clinic setting
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and recording vital signs
- Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms and medical instruments
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system
- Collect and prepare specimens and assist with routine clinical tasks
- Support in-office procedures and dermatologic treatments when applicable
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-ups
- Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient education and instructions for treatments, medications, and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; accredited Medical Assistant III or Licensed Practical Nursing program graduation required
- Experience: Previous Medical Assistant or clinical experience required; dermatology or phlebotomy experience preferred
- Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR/EHR systems, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask
- Certifications: Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) in state of North Dakota required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or ability to obtain
