Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum development principles.
- Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies.
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through individualized instruction and group activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong home-school partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of children’s progress and incidents.
- Lead classroom activities that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and early intervention strategies.
- Supervise assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure smooth daily operations while modeling best practices in childhood development instruction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior preschool teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention techniques, special education needs, and childhood welfare practices.
- Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management.
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training in early childhood education is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing methods for early learners and experience teaching physical education or literacy education is advantageous.
- Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
