Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order picking and packing techniques to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments.
- Manage inventory levels by accurately recording data entry into inventory management software and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Assist with stock stocking, organization, and cycle counts to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by managing order fulfillment processes from receipt to dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace by following safety protocols and conducting regular inspections of the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and logistics
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment with proper certification preferred.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, order picking & packing, load & unload activities
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
