Job Overview
We are seeking two attorneys to join our legal team. One position is entry level and the other is for someone with 3+ years of experience. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse array of legal disputes, advocate for clients, and contribute to complex litigation cases across multiple practice areas. In this position, you will be instrumental in managing case strategies, preparing for trial, and representing clients with confidence and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of litigation, including case investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.
- Prepare for court depositions by developing questions and coordinating witness testimony.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Maintain detailed case management records and ensure compliance with procedural laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about case developments and legal options.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving general & commercial litigation, employment law cases, or personal injury claims.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice in
- Hands-on experience with court depositions and trial preparation is essential.
- Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to craft compelling legal arguments and motions.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and advocacy materials.
- Familiarity with procedural laws governing litigation processes within the jurisdiction.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced law office environment with effective client communication skills is preferred.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
