Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mill Laborer to join our team. The Mill Laborer will support daily mill operations and assist machine operator. This role is hands-on, physical and requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:-
Assist in the setup and operation of mill equipment

Load and unload raw materials on production line

Assist with all material handling, including sorting and stacking of raw materials and finished products

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines, tools, and work area

Inspect materials and finished products for quality
-
Follow all safety policies and procedures

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor
Qualifications:-
High School diploma or equivalent
-
Previous experience working a lumber yard or mill is preferred. Other manufacturing or industrial settings will be considered for the right candidate

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, and perform repetitive physical tasks

Must be a dependable team player with a proactive work ethic

Forklift experience and/or certification a plus
