General Summary
Perform various assembly jobs to molded products within the guidelines of the Manufacturing Process Sheet (MPS). Work as directed.
Essential Job Functions
1. Read the Manufacturing Process Sheet (MPS) to determine what processes and procedures are needed to provide the best quality product.
2. Have all required supplies and tools needed to perform necessary job duties as per the MPS. Supplies and tools are provided as needed.
3. Report to supervisor’s office five (5) minutes prior to the start of shift for the shift kick off meeting. Do not leave workstation or machine without supervisor's knowledge.
4. Verify that the reject sheets and product labels (if applicable) are at workstation. Initial product labels in designated space and verify that reject sheet is filed out correctly.
5. Visually inspect product for cosmetic defects such as shorts, flash, silver, and contamination.
6. Complete assembly job per work instructions from the Manufacturing Process Sheet (MPS). Work to bid.
7. Package acceptable products into boxes per MPS. Packaging may consist of count or weight.
8. Report any problems with machine or product to the shift supervisor, set-up technician, and/or inspector.
9. Keep workstation, machine, and surrounding area, free from clutter and plastic debris.
10. Turn in all supplies, tools, at the end of the shift.

1. Possess basic math skills such as counting and adding.
2. Ability to follow instructions.
3. Ability to work well with others.
4. High School Diploma or equivalent.
